Informationdesign is one of the most important disciplines in visual communication. Every detail is an important part of a visual story that provides information quickly and clearly.

In this semester project, the choice of topic was optional. I decided for the "race into space" because this story is linked to very strong images that I deliberately wanted to dispense with in my information graphics.

In the 1950s and 1960s the »race into space« broke out between the US and Russia. The colossal task of bringing a human into space and later onto the moon was a demonstration of power and technological superiority. The struggle of two political systems ended with the Cold War.
